A little dryland, A little more ice

A is debating the idea of where to go for high school. Grade nine has just begun but one must think about these things. The private schools are already accepting applications. The best likely have a waiting list.

He isn't so keen on continuing the hockey program next year. He also doesn't think he wants to make the grade 9 trip to Switzerland to play hockey.

Do you suppose having 7 ice times and three dryland sessions this week have any bearing? Or is it the idea of skiing as late into the spring season as he possibly can on every available Saturday?

Still.... he was very annoyed that he misses phys ed for the orthodontist tomorrow. "And I can't remember the last time I had phys ed on a Friday - it always gets cut on early dismissal day!"

As if he didn't get enough exercise.

Dear God, thank you for giving us a healthy, active young man. May his activities not injure him. May my fear not unnecessarily restrict him. May he do his best at all his responsibilities.
Amen.
