Kneel with Me

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him,
that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
I John 5:14-15 (NKJV)

Today (Thursday) at 11:45 a.m., my teenager is scheduled for oral surgery under general anesthetic to remove all four wisdom teeth. The doctor is very experienced and highly regarded; there are no medical concerns and this should be a straightforward, relatively minor procedure. However, I am still anxious.

As most of you who read this are praying people, I would ask your prayer support:
  • for the doctor and medical staff that God would guide and give wisdom,
  • for my son to respond properly to the anesthetic and to recover quickly,
  • and for peace for my "butterflies" - that I would be able to "rest in the Lord".

It's the wee hours and I have wasted enough time fretting, so I am going to sleep now, declaring with the Psalmist:

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make (us) dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

Thank you for your encouragement and support.
