I worry about my son, I pray for my son, I do my best to train him, coach, prod, discipline. I've given him graduated independence as he shows responsibility. And then one day, I see glimmers of brilliance. Today I was driving him home from inline hockey and he said, in the midst of a rather lighthearted conversation with his buddy:
"Good things don't always come from good intentions."
Profound truth.
And then I listened to the two of them make strange noises for the rest of the evening.
AHAHHA - adolescence. Insight and armpit farts in perfect balance.
