Light Breakfast

Warming sun streams in the window Christmas morning,
I prepare Norwegian Pancakes and bask in the glow of family time.
The mountains radiate light against a pale blue sky,
define their place with clear edges and sharp shadows.

A snapshot of my world 2,000+ years after Christ came
and in His coming, changed this world, for me.
For good.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above
and comes down from the Father of Lights
in whom there is no variableness or shifting shadow."

His creation is His whisper: I am here. Always.
My creations are my echo: Jesus, I'm yours.
Let my light shine.

  1. Hope your Christmas was lovely - and a Happy New Year to you and your family!

  2. Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!

  3. Thank you both. I trust Christmas and the New Year were peacefilled for you as well, Violet.

And, Anon, if you have read all my old articles, you are quite the trooper. I'm trying now to focus on what's truly important and have learned much from reading the work of others.
