Over the weekend I attended two very different art exhibitions and craft sales, met up with several different friends over meals, learned to video chat on Facebook and enjoyed some deeply satisfying online conversation with a faraway friend. The inspiration from all this (verbal connection, visual, textual and graphic arts, along with singing and engaging in worship and remembrance through my home church) compelled me to write this morning. A poem emerged, which is posted over on my poetry blog.
