I started typing "Ain't gonna take no crap" but thought better of it. Bad grammar. Crass. But then again.... it really does sum up my life the last couple of weeks.
I'm too old and too experienced to put up with people treating me badly. Dr. Phil likes saying we train others how to treat us.
Things I am no longer willing to do:
- Accept unsolicited advice.
- Remain under the guidance/leadership/supervision of those who don't respect me.
- Ride in a vehicle where I know the driver will consistently violate the speed limit.
- Keep something around "in case I might need it"
- Be silent when insulted.
And that is just for starters.
