Places I Love

191. The views are wonderful. Here is La Grande Arche and La Défense near sunset, photographed from the top of the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile, Paris.

192. Smith-Dorien/Spray Lakes Trail, Kananaskis. Looking northwest toward Ha Link peak above Canmore, Alberta

193. Paragliding in the Lauterbrunnen Valley in the Swiss Alps, we lift off above Murren

194. Seeing from a bird's eye view. Read the story of the day I flew.

195. Back home, Upper Kananaskis Lake from Mt. Indefatigable

196. The beach in Florida

197. Anywhere with my family

I am grateful for the joy of beauty and relationships.

Question: What are your favourite places?

Moose Hunting

Spent the day chasing beauty and moose hunting with my camera along Smith Dorrien Trail in Kananaskis. At the end of the trip, I'm mooseless. And I was almost lenseless after my 18mm-300mm lens slid out of my cargo pants pocket beside Spray Lake without me realizing. Went back an hour later (50 km return trip on gravel) and managed to find it, dry and intact in soft marsh grass only a hands-breadth from deep water! Whew.
