Golf Lesson #1

Today I had the privilege of taking my first lesson from a golf pro. A and I shared a semi private lesson and spent most of the time learning to swing properly for the chip shot with a 9 iron. We get a great break on rates because the instructor is a part of the golf wing of National Sport Academy where A is enrolled for hockey. Even though it was cool and overcast, I thoroughly enjoyed the process as the 1 hour lesson stretched into 90 minutes and entered the realm of discussing family, friends and religion. Hmmm. A mission field on the golf course.
