Mt. Indefatigable Ascent

The first section was quite steep, the second, though less steep, had looser rock and the use of trekking poles was a necessity for both types of terrain, especially on the return with unstable footing. There were snow patches for the last 300 metres. We took a leisurely pace of about 4 hours total, allowing stops for capturing the breathtaking views and delicate flora.
