What do I say? A picture’s worth a thousand words but I can’t paint this one and do it justice. I hiked through the rainforest with a group of 12, fording 4 places where the stream was washing over the path due to recent flash floodling. The head guide said he’d never seen the water so high in 20 years. We learned about Hawaii’s plants along the way and enjoyed fruit right off the tree.
At the end of the trail, the roar of the waterfall was deafening. I got to swim below the waterfall on Christmas day. There is nothing like it. Unbelieveable. Pictures to come.
