Poignant, thrilling, overwhelming, funny, entertaining, convicting, satisfying.... attending the Steve Bell concert in Calgary topped off the weekend perfectly. It was equally satisfying for my trendy teenage son who thinks Steve and his band are far more talented than most current top 40 musicians.

ReplyDeleteI love Steve Bell. I got a marketing CD from his company with an interview where he talks about the Bruce Cockburn songs he chose for that album and why he likes them etc. In fact, I liked some of the things he said so much I transcribed them and posted them on my poetry blog.
