Son's Tribute

A and B are having some sort of contest related to Mother's Day that may have something to do with affirming words.

Tonight A was supposed to have gone to game seven of the Flames first round Stanley Cup run but his conduct yesterday required us to levy strong discipline. He had to spend the evening productively without television or other electronic aids and his ticket was given to a deserving youth leader. There was more to it, but you get the drift.

Midway through the evening he came to me and said "Would you like to hear what I wrote? I can't tell you what the contest is, but I want to read you my poem."

Discipline = Security.
