God Can't Use Me

The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember...

Noah was a drunk
Abraham was too old
Isaac was a daydreamer
Jacob was a liar
Leah was ugly
Joseph was abused
Moses had a stuttering problem
Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Naomi was a widow
Job went bankrupt
Peter denied Christ
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
Martha worried about everything
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
Zaccheus was too small
Paul was too religious
Timothy had an ulcer..AND
Lazarus was dead!

Now! No more excuses! God can use you to your full potential. Besides, you aren't the message, you are just the messenger. God is waiting to use your full potential.

  1. Everybody was smart. Me on the other hand is dumb~ 30 years old and everything I do or touch turns
into a failure. Yeah, Noah was a drunk, but you know what? He was smart. Key word smart. If they
weren't, they had an ability that God saw and took
advantage of. I have no talents or abilities. and everything i touch turns into a failure. the end

  2. If you don't feel smart, the scripture (book of James) says you can ask God for wisdom and he will give it to you.

If you feel like a failure, the word of God says you can do everything through Christ who strengthens you. (Philippians 4:13)

A failure in the eyes of the world is not always a failure in God's eyes. "My plans are not your plans," he says. "My thoughts are higher than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55)

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

I am praying for you to come to know the God you worship through spending time in his word and finding out his plans for you. Let him be your righteousness. His life is now yours. He works everything into a pattern for good to those who love him and are called according to HIS purpose. (Rom. 8:28)

  3. Oh, my dear anonymous friend, you have been on my minds. Words are so feeble when you are in such pain. God loves you so much.

Another writer who has been through terrible failure had a good word about these things. You can
