Friday Feast

From Friday's Feast website, her questions, my answers. Play along!

Appetizer
Where on your body do you have a scar, and what caused it?

On my stomach, a nine inch long diagonal frankenstein mark from the removal of a very badly behaving gall bladder. I later discovered the surgery was completed at the hospital rated worst of all hospitals in my province. Let's just say "optional surgery" is an oxymoron.

Soup
What is something that has happened to you that you would consider a miracle?

That my hubby still loves me.

Salad
Name a television personality who really gets on your nerves.

"Television personality" is an oxymoron. But for the sake of the game: Nancy Grace.

Main Course
What was a funny word you said as a child (such as "pasketti" for "spaghetti")?

I had seven older brothers. No one knows if I ever talked before I was sixteen. But I remember saying "calvary" (the cross) instead of "cavalry" (the horse brigade).

Dessert
Fill in the blank: I have always thought ______ was ______.

I have always thought multiple choice was easier than fill-in-the-blanks.

  1. Nice feast. :) I'm laughing at your main course and grinning at your dessert. Your appetizer sounds painful!

  10. You wouldn't feel that way about multiple choice questions if you took the Bar Exam which features the 200 multiple choice questions from hell. You would long for a good, old-fashioned fill-in-the-blank question!! :-)

My feast is served. C'mon over!
