Here is a day to honour with gratitude the things our fathers did well, to cover with forgiveness the ways they fell, and remember with fondness the stories they'd tell. They were shaped by their fathers too, and so the generations follow.
Happy Fathers Day to the dads and their dads. Thanks for all the ways you love and provide and pray and play and laugh and lead.
May we all remember to run to the one Father who is always true, always good, who gently leads, guides, and heals the wounds we still hold.
